Why I Do What I Do

I.love.people.

I’m a raging extrovert. A WOO. An Enneagram type 7. I.love.people.

Over the years, I’ve learned that what I love so much about people is learning what makes them, them, and using that insight to help them achieve what they want to achieve.

During the 10+ years I spent running social media for a large non-profit, messaging daily to over 13 million fans, I loved spending hours finding out what made people tick, driving them to engage with the content I put out.

So, while I’m passionate about the data and human psychology behind social media, I’m even more passionate about learning these shortcuts so that my clients, other hard working business owners, can spend their time focusing on the business and work that makes THEIR hearts happy.

Don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.
— Dolly Parton

As entrepreneurs, we typically start off running our businesses in the most lean way possible, trying the DIY version of everything.

Yet over the years I’ve learned that it’s okay to let people help me. It’s okay to invest in others’ expertise, therefore investing in myself. It’s okay to not have to learn and do all.the.things because there is a world of talent around us and there is enough room for everyone.

All this allows us more time to LIVE…to run the businesses we started because we love the work. Do what makes you smile. Take a break, to really live the life you work so hard for…because if not, what is it all worth anyway?
